Our firm is registered with the State of Iowa and our official address is in Montezuma. But we almost always meet our clients at a location that is most convenient for them. We also offer virtual meetings via Zoom. 

We typically charge our clients based on a percentage of assets under management. This way, we make more when our clients make more. We also provide fee-only planning for clients who like managing their own investments. 

Schwab Advisor Services and Altruist are our preferred third-party custodians that securely hold your investment assets and execute trades in your portfolio.

CFP®- Certified Financial Planner

The CFP designation represents the gold standard of our industry. It requires graduate-level coursework in six planning topics, and successfully passing a 12-hour comprehensive exam. 

CIMA®- Certified Investment Management Analyst

The CIMA is an elite program offered by The University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business, one of the most prestigious institutions in the country. It requires graduate-level coursework on campus, and successfully passing three comprehensive exams on topics such as portfolio construction, risk management, and asset allocation. 

BBA and/or MBA- Bachelor's/Master's in Business Administration

Our founder and lead advisor earned a BBA in Finance from The University of Iowa's Tippie College of Business, and an MBA from the University of Northern Iowa's Wilson College of Business.
